Personal Assistant

I was a personal assistant to CEOs for a brief period of time. It was really fun working in glamorous offices, and I got an inside look on how successful people run their businesses. A lot of my work had to do with doing the tasks these rich guys didn’t feel like doing; some of it included assisting with company decision making.

These are some of the responsibilities I had while working in the office:

  • Identify areas for improvement in policies, procedures, and business processes and deliver strategic recommendations to senior management on key issues.

  • Compose, receive, sort, and disseminate daily confidential correspondence between companies and their clients.

  • Collaborate with other companies to plan and organize events by using excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrating confidence when interacting with upper management and high priority clients.

  • Create an organization system for mass amounts of confidential business documents

  •

I didn’t stay in these positions for very long because they did not at the time align with my goals. I did learn a lot here, though, and I would absolutely take a similar position again if it was a good opportunity.
